Fake or non-genuine reviews
Reviews that do not appear to describe a real experience, including fabricated activity and rating manipulation.
Fake, unfair and policy-violating Google reviews can damage trust before a customer ever contacts you. FirstRank builds evidence-led removal cases for businesses—with a free assessment and no upfront removal fee for accepted reviews.
Google review removal for businesses
Negative Google reviews influence the first impression of your business in Search and Maps. A suspicious one-star rating, an abusive allegation or a coordinated review attack can reduce confidence even when it does not reflect a genuine customer experience.
Google does not remove content merely because a business disputes it. Reviews normally need to violate Google’s content policies. FirstRank examines the wording, reviewer context and available evidence, then recommends the strongest proportionate route.
If there are no credible grounds, we will tell you. If we accept the review for removal work, you do not pay the agreed removal fee upfront.
Ask us to assess a reviewA straightforward success-fee model
For an accepted review-removal case, we identify the precise review in scope and confirm a fixed success fee in writing. The removal fee becomes payable only when that review has been removed.
What may qualify
These categories are indicators, not automatic grounds. Every review is assessed against Google’s current policies and its specific context.
Reviews that do not appear to describe a real experience, including fabricated activity and rating manipulation.
Reviews connected to competitors, current or former staff, or other relationships where Google’s conflict rules may apply.
Threatening, abusive or targeted content that goes beyond a legitimate account of a customer experience.
Reviews that expose sensitive personal details, contact information or other restricted private information.
Political commentary, general rants or experiences that clearly concern a different business or location.
Sudden coordinated low ratings, repeated content or reviews followed by demands for money, goods or services.
Clear boundaries
Google allows people to describe genuine experiences, including critical ones. We do not manufacture policy arguments, encourage false reporting or promise removal where no responsible route exists.
One star may be damaging, but rating alone does not show a policy violation.
Strong criticism can remain when it reflects a genuine experience and stays within policy.
Google is not a court and may not decide complex disputes solely from competing accounts.
Authenticity, prohibited content, conflicts, privacy, relevance and manipulation can create a valid route.
Our removal process
One managed case, with the scope and commercial terms explained before work begins.
Send the review link, your Google Business Profile and a short explanation. We assess whether a credible policy route exists.
We preserve the relevant material and connect the review’s content and context to the strongest applicable Google policy.
For an accepted case, we confirm the review in scope and agree the fixed success fee in writing before any removal work begins.
We prepare the submission, use the relevant reporting or appeal route and monitor the case without repeatedly filing generic reports.
You pay the agreed removal fee only after we confirm that the accepted review has been removed from the profile.
Prepare your assessment
You do not need a perfect evidence pack before contacting us. Start with the direct link and what you know; we will explain what else is relevant.

We adapt the assessment to how customers choose, how records are kept and how review risks arise in your sector.
Situations we assess
A business receives a detailed allegation but cannot identify a corresponding booking or transaction. We assess the wording and surrounding signals; the absence of a record supports investigation but is not treated as proof by itself.
A reviewer appears connected to a competitor or an employment dispute. We examine verifiable relationship evidence and whether Google’s conflict-of-interest rules provide a responsible route.
Several profiles post similar low ratings within a short period. We preserve the pattern, check for connected demands or repeated language and identify the most relevant reporting route.
These are illustrative situations, not claimed client outcomes. Google independently evaluates every report and the result can vary.
While a review is being considered
A removal request may take time and may not succeed. In the meantime, a measured response can show prospective customers that your business listens and acts responsibly.

Google review removal FAQs
FirstRank cannot directly delete a review from Google. We assess eligible reviews, prepare evidence and manage the most appropriate reporting or escalation route. Google makes the final removal decision.
For an accepted review-removal case, there is no upfront removal fee. We agree a fixed success fee in writing, and that fee becomes payable only after the review in scope has been removed. Any separate reputation, legal or monitoring work would be optional and quoted separately.
It may be removable if the facts indicate a breach of Google’s content policies. A review feeling unfair, inaccurate or damaging is not by itself sufficient, so we assess the content, reviewer context and available evidence before accepting a case.
Potential grounds include fake engagement, conflicts of interest, harassment, personal information, impersonation, off-topic material, restricted content and certain coordinated review attacks. Eligibility always depends on the precise wording and context.
Usually not simply because it is one star or critical. Google allows customers to describe genuine negative experiences. We will not present an honest opinion as a policy violation where no credible grounds exist.
No. Google controls its platform and makes the final decision. Our pay-after-removal model reduces your financial risk, but it is not a guarantee that every review can or will be removed.
Timings vary according to the review, route, evidence and Google’s response. Google says review evaluation typically takes several days, while appeals or complex cases can take longer. We provide a realistic case-specific view rather than promise a fixed deadline.
Not for the initial assessment. We normally begin with public links, screenshots and relevant context. Never send passwords by email; if account access later becomes useful, we will explain a secure and limited method.
Preserve the review first. A calm public response can sometimes protect customer confidence, but the right approach depends on the allegation and whether a response could expose private details or complicate the case.
Do not pay or engage beyond what is needed to preserve evidence. Keep screenshots, messages, dates and links. Google has a specific reporting route for review extortion scams, and urgent cases should be assessed promptly.
Yes. We can assess individual reviews, suspected review attacks and multi-location profiles. Each review is evaluated separately because the available evidence and policy grounds can differ.
We explain the limitation and can recommend proportionate next steps, such as a careful response, review monitoring, genuine feedback generation or wider reputation support. Optional services are separate from the accepted removal fee.
